Volunteer of the Month: Barbara Weingold

Please help us in acknowledging and celebrating our Volunteer of the Month, Barbara Weingold, RN!

Barbara is our incredible Volunteer Patient Care Manager. She coordinates the vital services our patients receive from the many specialists and testing partners who provide medical care and diagnostics outside the walls of Culmore Clinic.  Barbara came to us on the recommendation of a friend from the Catholic University of America who followed us on Facebook. . When asked what her favorite memory is of volunteering at Culmore Clinic Barbara said:

One of my favorite memories was when a patient came in looking for me to personally to thank me for helping him receive the specialty care (orthopedics)  that he needed. He had been in pain and limping for over a year. He walked in the office without a limp and with a huge smile. It made all the work worthwhile.  (Pictured with Barbara above.)

Barbara lives in Alexandria with her husband, three children and two dogs. When she’s not at The Clinic, she’s walking her dogs, exercising or traveling with her family.
