Quick Facts:
Only four states invest less per resident in Medicaid than Virginia.
Meanwhile, 240,000 uninsured Virginians fall in a coverage gap, unable to enroll in Medicaid or receive tax credits to help buy coverage in the marketplace.
Faith leaders, healthcare experts and other Virginians call for action to ensure that all residents have access to lifesaving healthcare, a basic human right and moral obligation.
There is renewed hope that the most recent Virginia election results will move Virginia closer to fulfilling this moral mandate.
