A New Patient Navigator

After almost a year of incredible service to Culmore Clinic, our full-time Patient Navigator, Cristina Garcia has left the position to move to Texas to be closer to her family. "We were fortunate to have Cristina as a team member. She worked diligently and efficiently to enroll our patients into The Clinic. We were sad to see her go and wish her the very best in her future endeavors," says Clinical Director Maria Obeid. Cristina was in large part the reason we were able to reduce our three month waiting list to nearly zero. She worked alongside Deedee Mojica, Patient Services Manager, to accomplish this big job and we are so grateful!

Taking over the full-time staff position is a familiar name to Culmore Clinic. Monica Travez has been volunteering with The Clinic for five years as an Interpreter. Monica has been one of our best interpreters and we know she will fill this role as Patient Navigator perfectly. "We're so lucky to have someone that deeply cares for the patients and is committed to the Culmore Clinic's mission of serving disadvantaged patients in our community," says Jessica Mojica, Operations Manager.

Thank you for your service, Cristina, and welcome aboard, Monica!
