Our Response in Numbers

Normally the Culmore Clinic model provides 28 hours per week of primary medical care coupled with counseling, HIV testing and onsite specialty services such as orthopedics, EKGs, physical therapy and special clinics for dental, ophthalmology and diabetes education. These services are supported by 56 hours of nursing care per week.

In response to the COVID 19 crisis, Culmore Clinic ramped up to provide 48 hours per week of primary care, including COVID testing two days per week. The blessing of Culmore Clinic is that we are small but mighty. We knew our already vulnerable community would be highly impacted by the pandemic and we were right. Over 50% of our patients tested positive for COVID19. We adapted our successful model to respond with compassion and excellence.
