A Special Anniversary
December 2023 marks a very special 10 year anniversary for Culmore Clinic! Established in 2007 as a collaborative effort of the Falls Church interfaith community, Culmore Clinic quickly earned support and became an independent nonprofit organization in 2013. We’re celebrating our first decade as an independent organization.
Thriving
The Clinic thrives because an invested community of volunteers and staff are dedicated and passionate about providing excellent medical care, at no cost, to our adult neighbors who lack access to healthcare.
New Donor Donations Doubled!
We’re excited to announce a special opportunity to support our efforts: A $10,000 matching grant!
To celebrate the important work of The Clinic, and our milestone anniversary, an anonymous donor is matching gifts (up to $10,000) made to Culmore Clinic from NEW DONORS during our anniversary week, December 10-17.

Residents without health insurance are more likely to go untreated, miss work, or end up in the emergency room where care is expensive and health problems are treated, but not resolved. This often leads to a further decline in health and resources.

A Closer Look at Our Newest Services
Thanks to a community-wide effort, we launched our our Vision Suite this fall. We are now able to provide eye exams to our patients, a crucial part of the health puzzle, particularly because such a high proportion of our patients have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, which is known to result in complications in eye health. Learn more about our new Vision Suite and how it came to be.

Also launched this fall is our partnership with The Northern Virginia Dental Clinic (NVDC). Like Culmore Clinic, the NVDC is a nonprofit dental clinic focused on serving those from Northern Virginia who do not have access to dental insurance. Culmore Clinic recently became a referring agency, which gives us the ability to refer our patients for high-quality dental care. And, through a grant awarded to us by INOVA Health in August, our patients receive initial services at no cost. Learn more here.
