YPC's Webinar: Inside the Volunteer Experience (Recorded)

In case you missed it - here is the recorded Zoom event held March 30, 2021 hosted by our new Young Professionals Committee (YPC). YPC works with the Board of Directors to promote Culmore Clinic’s mission among students, recent graduates, and those early in their careers.

Culmore Clinic’s Volunteer Administrator Uloma Kelechi Nwaolu gave us an inside look at what it’s like to volunteer at Culmore Clinic. Learn about our non-profit healthcare clinic and how we serve low-income adults in the Bailey’s Crossroads community at little to no cost through the help of a diverse group of interfaith volunteers, healthcare providers, and donors. Hear about Uloma’s firsthand experiences and how she’s inspired by the compassionate patient care The Clinic offers our community.

Meet Uloma: Uloma graduated from Brown University with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and a focus on Physiology and Nutrition. She later went on to graduate from Georgetown University’s Graduate Program with a Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics. She’s currently a Premedical Student, Medical Assistant and Researcher.
