Please help us in acknowledging and celebrating our Volunteer of the Month, Rev. Andrew Merrow! We are so lucky to have Andrew, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Culmore Clinic. Andrew has been Rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Arlington since 1985. When he is not dedicating his spare time to Culmore Clinic, he enjoys spending it with his wife Cameron, their three grandchildren, hiking and fishing. When prompted on his favorite memory of Culmore Clinic, Andrew said this…

One of my favorite memories is speaking at the Clinic's fundraiser at Jack and Terry Lavoie's home every year and seeing the excitement on people's faces as they realize what a difference they can make in the lives of our neighbors by supporting the work of the Clinic.

When we asked Andrew what inspired him to get involved at Culmore Clinic, Andrew said…

Although I live and work in Arlington, I am well aware that in the midst of so much material wealth in Northern Virginia there are many for whom the basics of life, such as access to medical care, present a constant struggle. The fact that The Clinic is a grassroots interfaith effort inspires me to demonstrate that there a lot of people of all faiths and races who want to work together for the common good.

We thank you, Andrew, for all you do for us!
