Volunteer of the Month: Lorraine Creely

We are proud to name Lorraine Creely as this month’s Volunteer of the Month! Learn more about the many hats she wears at Culmore Clinic - including a Nationals cap of course!

Lorraine Creely serves as a “Special Projects Manager” for Culmore Clinic.  Some might call her our utility infielder, which is apt given Lorraine’s love of baseball and dedication to our Washington Nationals.  After retiring as a Senior Project Manager for PEPCO, Culmore Clinic tapped Lorraine’s skills to become the Project Manager of our move from Columbia Baptist Church to our home at First Christian Church in late 2018 and early 2019.  Lorraine also serves on the Clinic’s Events Subcommittee and joined the Board of Directors in 2020 and chairs the Board’s Site Development Committee.  When the COVID crisis hit, Lorraine showed herself once again to be a team player by stepping in to serve on our COVID test site’s Set Up Ministry.  Lorraine is a parishioner at St Anthony of Padua and serves on the St Mathew Society and served on the Board of Trustees of the Congressional Schools of Virginia as well as its Advancement Committee. Lorraine and her husband Ray live in Lake Barcoft where Lorraine is also a member of the Lake Barcroft Women’s Club.
