We Welcome Our New PA Student, Deanna Wetze!

As part of Culmore Clinic’s new relationship with Shenandoah University, we will be receiving a total of eight of their Physician Assistant students on rotation at The Clinic over the next year.

As our first PA student, Laura Smarsh, PA-S departed earlier last month (you can read her essay about her experience here), we were very grateful to welcome Deanna Wetze, PA-S to the team.

Deanna is feeling right at home at Culmore Clinic thanks to pure coincidence! For four years, Deanna worked alongside our Volunteer Cardiologist Dean Pollack, MD at Virginia Heart before coming here! It’s a small world!

Deanna is passionate about health and fitness and is grateful for the soothing presence of her cats, something she needs as she studies to become a PA.
